Parks & Recreation

Features

The Forest Heights Parks and Recreation initiative is not a single department, but a joint effort from the Clerk's Office, Police and Public Works departments to provide quality of life and health for residents and visitors of Forest Heights.

The effort is currently headed by the Police Department's Office of Community Resources, but the shared works produce a collaborative ensemble for the community. These shared works include activities and opportunities at our Municipal Hall, Oxon Cove, two community parks, and surrounding community centers.

Additionally, the town offers many leisure activities periodically throughout the year. These activities appear on the homepage calendar for your convenience.

Councilman Calvin Washington provide oversight and resources to the committee.
