Out of State Registration Plate Enforcement
Maryland law requires that most vehicles be titled and registered in this state if they will be kept here for more than 60 days. A non-resident permit enables a licensed driver to maintain and operate a vehicle with out-of-state registration for more than sixty (60) days in Maryland, without titling and registering it in Maryland.
