#LetsDriveSafer Program: Safer driving near our school zones
We’ve consistently heard about unsafe driving in our school zones, and we've initiated the Let's Drive Safer Program! A new way to keep our children safe on their walks to school and reduce unsafe behavior in our communities.
The LetsDriveSafer Program is about coming together to address unsafe driving in our community.
- We start with raising awareness: See the study leading up to the implementation of the program. These incidents helped us recognize the problem all across town
- We’ve also installed 11 new stop sign cameras at key intersections to ensure accountability near our school zones
- Finally, we ask everyone for their participation: together, we can make our roadways safer
